Electric motors maker Hexagon Electrical appoints David Dyce as new CEO

Electric motors designers and manufacturers, Hexagon Electrical (Pty) Ltd, part of Montsi Investments has appointed David Dyce as new Chief Executive Officer effective February 2025.

David has enjoyed many years in the electro-mechanical sector, with extensive experience in electrical, automation, installations and fault finding.

David’s technical expertise is enhanced by his business, leadership and sales skills. His focus on customer satisfaction aligns with the company’s prime objective. David’s commitment to the highest quality and safety standards, will be instrumental in guiding the company to further growth in his role as CEO.

Hexagon Electrical specialises in the design, manufacture and re-conditioning of a wide range of standard and bespoke flameproof and non-flameproof electrical equipment. This equipment is designed for use in various sectors, including mining and quarrying, chemical and pharmaceutical plants, milling, as well as general industry and engineering.

This range of equipment – which meets stringent quality, environmental and safety specifications – comprises motors and transformers, enclosures and switchgear, standard and ventilation fans, scrubber fans and auxiliary equipment.

Montsi Investments (MI) – which acquired Hexagon Electrical from the founder, Theuns du Toit in 2022 – has business interests in financial services, energy, telecommunications, manufacturing, healthcare and fisheries.
