Multi-Task deploys Lintec UCP120 Concrete Batching Plant for petrochemical storage project in Saudi Arabia

Multi-Task, a prominent sub-contractor in Saudi Arabia, has acquired a Lintec UCP120 Concrete Batching Plant to fulfil the building of critical petrochemical large storage tanks for Engineering for the Petroleum and Process Industries (Enppi).

The Lintec UCP120, sourced through Middle East Development Co. Ltd. (MEDCO), Lintec & Linnhoff’s exclusive distributor in Saudi Arabia, began operations in December 2023 in the Eastern Province. Known for its high production capacity and advanced engineering, the plant is playing a pivotal role in ensuring the timely completion of the multi-year project.

Enppi, an engineering, procurement, construction, and project management company that works in the oil, gas, power, and petrochemical industries, is overseeing the ambitious development, with the Lintec UCP120 playing a pivotal role in meeting the project’s stringent requirements.

Key features driving success

Multi-Task’s choice of the Lintec UCP120 reflects its commitment to high-performance equipment tailored for complex infrastructure demands. Key features of the UCP120 include:

  • High Production Capacity: Capable of producing up to 120 cubic meters of concrete per hour, ensuring smooth execution of large-scale projects.
  • Advanced Automation: A state-of-the-art computerised process control system delivers precise batching and consistent concrete quality to meet project specifications.
  • Versatile Customisation: The plant’s adaptable design allows Multi-Task to tailor operations to specific project needs.
  • Efficient Aggregate Handling: Equipped with multiple aggregate bins and a central-discharge belt conveyor system, it minimises truck waiting times and maximises operational efficiency.
  • Exceptional Durability: Built using advanced European technology and high-quality materials, the UCP120 ensures long-term reliability under demanding conditions.

Delivering operational excellence

The decision to invest in the Lintec UCP120 was influenced by its fast delivery timeline and reliable after-sales support, provided by Medco. Rapid setup of the plant allowed Multi-Task to commence operations on schedule, ensuring seamless progress of Enppi’s project.

Mr. Odai Ismail, MEDCO Regional Manager / Eastern Region said:

“The Lintec UCP120 is a game-changer for large-scale infrastructure developments. Its high production capacity, efficiency, and durability make it an ideal choice for demanding applications like Enppi’s petrochemical storage project. We are proud to support Multi-Task in delivering this critical initiative with a reliable and high-performance solution.“

Proven success across projects

The Lintec UCP120 has a strong track record of delivering exceptional results. Its deployment for this Saudi infrastructure project adds to its impressive portfolio, which includes:

  • Mombasa Port Expansion, Kenya: The UCP120 was customised to handle unique requirements for a major port development.
  • UAE Commercial Projects: Supplied high-quality ready-mix concrete for a range of diverse commercial developments.
  • Infrastructure Projects Across Asia: Played a vital role in large-scale developments in the Philippines, Malaysia, Vietnam, and Sri Lanka

Setting new standards in construction

As the Enppi project advances, the UCP120 continues to showcase its unmatched performance and reliability. This collaboration between Multi-Task, Enppi, and Lintec & Linnhoff demonstrates the importance of leveraging cutting-edge technology to achieve operational excellence in infrastructure development. The deployment of the UCP120 is not only facilitating project milestones but also setting benchmarks for future construction projects in the region and beyond.
